馬可福音四章35-41節
神的小僕人

經文:
35 當那天晚上，耶穌對門徒說：我們渡到那邊去吧。
36 門徒離開眾人，耶穌仍在船上，他們就把他一同帶去，也有別的船和他同行。
37 忽然起了暴風，波浪打入船內，甚至船要滿了水。
38 耶穌在船尾上，枕著枕頭睡覺。門徒叫醒了他，說：夫子！我們喪命，你不顧嗎？
39 耶穌醒了，斥責風，向海說：住了吧，靜了吧，風就止住，大大的平靜了。
40 耶穌對他們說：為甚麼膽怯，你們還沒有信心嗎？
41 他們就大大的懼怕，彼此說：這到底是誰，連風和海也聽從他了。

耶穌和祂的門徒在船上，忽然就起了大風浪，這風浪大到船都灌滿了水，門徒感到危險，就跑到正在船尾睡覺的耶穌面前，埋怨耶穌說：你不管嗎？他們埋怨耶穌不理他們的死活。

也許在不同的處境中我們也是這樣埋怨神，耶穌的回答給了我們安慰。主說：住了吧，靜了吧。祂是掌管風和海、大自然及萬有的主宰。當風浪停了，主耶穌就提醒門徒信心的功課。

「住了吧、靜了吧」也可適用在我們身上，即安靜在神面前，倚靠祂，這樣我們才能學習信心的功課，看到耶穌真正的能力。

Mark 4:35-41

Jesus and His disciples were on a boat and suddenly a storm hit them hard. The waves broke over the boat and the disciples were scared. They went to Jesus complaining, “don’t you care?”

Aren’t we the same when we have to deal with things that we find difficult to cope ? Jesus replied by saying, “Quiet, be still”. The sea was calmed and His disciples were stunned by the power of our Lord.

The sea is rough but it is us who need to be quiet and be still. By doing so, we can see the Mighty power of our Lord and our faith will grow.
