2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Paul had special revelation from God and he was commissioned to do great work for the Lord. Yet a thorn in his body had caused him pain and it did not go away despite he pleaded three times for its removal. God did not answer his prayer but God promised sufficient grace for him to walk through.

By then Paul became strong in his weaknesses. Why? The mystery is his trust in the Lord for His promises, his submission and perseverance. We are all weak and we can find grace while in weakness, not at times when we feel we are strong.

Weakness is our nature and we can experience the full reality of grace in our weaknesses.
