約書亞記三章12-17節
神的小僕人

經文:
12 你們現在要從以色列支派中揀選十二個人，每支派一人。
13 等到抬普天下主耶和華約櫃的祭司把腳站在約但河水裡，約但河的水，就是從上往下流的水，必然斷絕，立起成壘。
14 百姓離開帳棚，要過約但河的時候，抬約櫃的祭司，乃在百姓的前頭，
15 他們到了約但河，腳一入水，（原來約但河水，在收割的日子，漲過兩岸）
16 那從上往下流的水，便在極遠之地，撒拉但旁的亞當城那裡停住，立起成壘，那往亞拉巴的海，就是鹽海，下流的水，全然斷絕。於是百姓在耶利哥的對面過去了。
17 抬耶和華約櫃的祭司在約但河中的乾地上站定，以色列眾人都從乾地上過去，直到國民盡都過了約但河。

當以色列人過約旦河進入迦南的時候，再一次經歷了信心的考驗。當時的祭司抬着約櫃，他們要先把腳踏在水中，約旦河的河水才從上到下中斷，竪立成壘。

信心學習常常也必須學習這一步，當我們有上帝的應許，卻仍然看見河水，我們的腳必須踏進去，水才會分開。故此當我們看見障礙，仍然以信心向前行，這一步的信心行動需要來自上帝的勇氣和堅定。

信心必須要有行動，當我們願意向前行，上帝會為我們開路。

Joshua 3:12-17

When the Israelites came to the Jordan river, they had to cross it in order to enter Canaan. The priests who carried the ark of the covenant were asked to put their feet into the river. When they did, the water from upstream stopped flowing, and they piled up a heap a distance away. Then the Israelites then walked over in dried land.

What a great demonstration of faith. When we only see the water and the obstacles, we need to move forward with faith. This step of faith needs courage and perseverance that come from God.

Faith is accompanied with action, and when we act according to the will of God, He acts.
