2 king 6:13-17

The king of Aram wanted to catch Elisha and his servant was scared because of the surrounding enemies. However the prophet saw that they were surrounded by the horses and chariots of fire. Elisha prayed that the eyes of his servant be opened that he can also see the saving army of the Lord.

When we need to deal with problems and issues, we focus on our difficulties and cannot see the good of it. When God closes a door, He always opens another one. Perhaps it is not our preferred outcome but it is a God given way. They are our rescue and protection.

May our spiritual eyes be opened so that we can see the overlooked grace.
