創世記三章1-5節
神的小僕人

經文:
1 耶和華神所造的，惟有蛇比田野一切的活物更狡猾。蛇對女人說：神豈是真說：不許你們吃園中所有樹上的果子嗎？
2 女人對蛇說：園中樹上的果子我們可以吃。
3 惟有園當中那棵樹上的果子，神曾說：你們不可吃，也不可摸，免得你們死。
4 蛇對女人說：你們不一定死；
5 因為神知道，你們吃的日子眼睛就明亮了，你們便如神能知道善惡。

始祖犯罪的故事永遠是今天的我們的提醒。許多時候，撒但藉着我們的軟弱，叫我們質疑上帝的信實，並且把神的話加添或減少，扭曲神的心意，把神祝福的心意變成傷害我們的意念(如在這段經文，我們可能會想神並不是那麼愛人類，祂怕我們像祂一樣）。

我們信心不足的時候，真的會懷疑上帝，和祂對我們愛的計劃。分別善惡樹是上帝給人類的一個界限和規定，好叫我們跟從順服祂；誤會上帝的人就把它看為上帝給人的一個陷阱，扭曲了上帝的心意。

相信神是好神，祂向我們所懷的意念是美好的心意，就算沒有給我們的東西，可能也是對我們有益處的。

Genesis 3:1-5

The story of Adam and Eve sinning in the Garden of Eden is very often our stories. Satan tempts us to doubt upon the love of God and he twists the good intention of God by altering the words of our God. (In Eden satan made Adam and Eve believe that God did not want them to be like God.)

It is so true that we will doubt the good intention of God when lives are not the way we want. Yet it does not mean God is not blessing us. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is a rule set by God for men to follow, setting a boundary of obedience, instead of a trap to curse us by making human sin.

Trust that God’s purpose is good, and things not given to us may be good for us.
