路加福音18章1-8節
神的小僕人

經文:
1 耶穌設一個比喻，是要人常常禱告，不可灰心。
2 說：某城裡有一個官，不懼怕神，也不尊重世人。
3 那城裡有個寡婦，常到他那裡，說：我有一個對頭，求你給我伸冤。
4 他多日不准。後來心裡說：我雖不懼怕神，也不尊重世人，
5 只因這寡婦煩擾我，我就給他伸冤吧，免得他常來纏磨我！
6 主說：你們聽這不義之官所說的話。
7 神的選民，晝夜呼籲他，他縱然為他們忍了多時，豈不終久給他伸冤嗎？
8 我告訴你們，要快快的給他們伸冤了，然而人子來的時候，遇得見世上有信德嗎？

主耶穌用一個不義的官的比喻，來鼓勵我們禱告不要灰心。這官不怕神、也不怕人，只是寡婦不斷的哀求，他因為怕被她厭煩，就答應她的請求。相比這不義的官，我們的神是何等慈愛、何等體諒，祂又怎會不聽我們的禱告呢？

今天若我們的禱告仍未得答允，不要灰心，相信上帝是信實的、是慈愛的、祂必垂聽禱告。

祂什麼時間答允我們，是祂的主權，我們只管相信祂。

Luke 18:1-8

Jesus used a parable to encourage us to pray persistently. There in a town was in unjust judge and he did not fear God and men. Yet the widow persisted in pleading for his help and he was annoyed, answering her request simply to avoid her. Compared to him, God is fair, He cares and He loves. How can he not answer our persistent prayers?

We may have been praying for a long time. Don’t give up, persist and trust that God listens. He is answering at the right time for our good sake. We just need to persevere.

Trusting and praying come hand in hand. We need to persevere.
