約翰壹書四章16-17節
神的小僕人

經文:
16 神愛我們的心，我們也知道也信。神就是愛，住在愛裡面的，就是住在神裡面，神也住在他裡面。
17 這樣，愛在我們裡面得以完全，我們就可以在審判的日子，坦然無懼，因為他如何，我們在這世上也如何。

神是愛，這是基督徒常說的，但約翰卻具體的告訴我們，我們要相信神的愛，也要活在神的愛裏面。換句話說，是要活在神愛的管治之下。神的愛不是放縱我們，而是叫我們能回應祂，活在祂的話語和心意中。

在第十七節裏面有一句我們常常忽略的說話，就是提醒信徒們要效法基督在世的生活，祂怎樣活我們也該怎樣活，這是多麼的易說難行呢？但若我們真的經歷到上帝的愛，順服跟從衪也就是我們回應的唯一途徑。

1 John 4:16-17

God is love, we all know and we all love to hear it. Yet John told us that this love is asking us to live in Him. What does it mean? It means that we are to live in the boundary of God, His sovereign rules and His good purposes. God’s love never spoils us.

Verse 17 told us something we often overlook. God’s love empowers us to live according to the example of Jesus. We live following how Jesus live on earth. But is easy said than done. Yet this is to the way we respond to the love of God.

God is love and let’s respond to His love by living in His words and obeying His will.
