以弗所書二章1-3節
神的小僕人

經文:
1 你們死在過犯罪惡之中，他叫你們活過來。
2 那時，你們在其中行事為人隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的首領，就是現今在悖逆之子心中運行的邪靈。
3 我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾，隨著肉體和心中所喜好的去行，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。

我們都是罪人，原本隨從肉體，放縱私欲，活在罪中，還引以為傲。我們的本性都是叛逆的，故此保羅在這段經文說出我們的情況: 願意順從肉體的叛逆，跟從世界的價值觀，做自己喜歡的事。

只是罪的工價乃是死，放縱自己真的快樂嗎？做自己喜歡的事就是真自由嗎？我們是基督用重價贖回來的人，當我們得着救恩，就可以選擇跟從上帝，活在不需要犯罪的真自由裡。

不要隨從肉體，在基督裏我們是新造的人。

Ephesians 2:1-3

Originally we are all living according to the flesh. We pursue what we delight and are enjoying the sins of the flesh. It is so true, for as Paul told us, we are disobedient and we love the world and the worldly pleasure. Yet we don’t recognise the cost of it is death.

Are we really happy pursuing the worldly pleasure ? Are we really free and happy doing what we want? The freedom Jesus gives us is the ability to live in godliness and the will of God. It is real freedom and a liberation from sins.

Giving up our pursue of the flesh for we are all made a new person through the redemption of Christ.
