腓立比書四章4-9節
神的小僕人

經文:
4 你們要靠主常常喜樂，我再說：你們要喜樂。
5 當叫眾人知道你們謙讓的心。主已經近了。
6 應當一無掛慮，只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求，和感謝，將你們所要的告訴神。
7 神所賜出人意外的平安，必在基督耶穌裡，保守你們的心懷意念。
8 弟兄們，我還有未盡的話，凡是真實的，可敬的，公義的，清潔的，可愛的，有美名的，若有甚麼德行，若有甚麼稱讚，這些事你們都要思念。
9 你們在我身上所學習的，所領受的，所聽見的，所看見的，這些事你們都要去行，賜平安的神，就必與你們同在。

保羅雖然身在監獄之中，但仍然鼓勵眾信徒，要靠主喜樂，這也許就是他在監獄中的最大感悟與經驗。保羅知道作為信徒可以因着相信上帝，把一切憂慮交給祂，而神所賜下的卻是出人意外的平安，是超越人可以理解的平安，是屬天的平安。

上帝賜下平安，絕非只是我們自己單單享受上帝的祝福，而是要我們繼續追求美善，叫我們可以繼續行善，來見證上帝。

喜樂是人生最大的祝福，是上帝同在的見證，是信徒全然交托的學習。

Philippians 4:4-9

Paul, being imprisoned, urged his fellow believers to rejoice in the Lord. This must have been his personal experience while he was in bondage. Paul believed it is a learning of trusting and letting go of our worries. Joy is a peaceful heart, a transcendent peace that can hardly be comprehended by our human logic.

Having that peace is not for our personal comfort for Paul asked us to continue the good deeds and the loving act to witness the Lord. God grants is peace and joy especially in this unrestful world to let the world we believe He is sovereign.

Joy is a blessing, it is a witness of our trusting in the Lord.
