雅歌四章12-16節
神的小僕人

經文:
12 我妹子，我新婦，乃是關鎖的園，禁閉的井，封閉的泉源。
13 你園內所種的結了石榴，有佳美的果子，並鳳仙花，與哪噠樹。
14 有哪噠和番紅花，菖蒲，和桂樹，並各樣乳香木，沒藥，沉香與一切上等的果品。
15 你是園中的泉，活水的井，從利巴嫩流下來的溪水。
16 北風阿，興起，南風阿，吹來，吹在我的園內，使其中的香氣發出來。願我的良人進入自己園裡，吃他佳美的果子。

雅歌第四章是描述新郎(良人)稱讚新婦(佳偶)，當中提及幾種香料，在園中發出香氣來，其含意是十分深遠的。沉香帶着苦味，代表在艱難的生活中發出堅毅的香氣。沒藥是用來保存屍體，是代表着我們的老我死了，是因着基督活出不同的生命。

乳香更是一種特別的香料，它是必須經過火才發出濃厚的香氣。生活的種種挑戰真的像火一般，把我們磨練起來，但經過火的試煉，我們就像精金，更像乳香一樣發出濃烈的香氣。

禱告:
天父，基督徒生命的香氣，是在生活的不同境況中，經歷主而發出的。感謝神常率領我們在基督裡誇勝，求主祝福我們的生命帶著那因認識基督而有的香氣。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。

Song of Songs 4:12-16

The fragrance of all the incense in the garden described in chapter 4 of the Song of Songs are very meaningful. Agarwood bring along sweetness through bitterness. Myrrh is to preserve the dead body, representing the death of old selves. And the mastic only produces strong smell through the rest of fire.

We all go through bitterness, denying of self and fiery trials in lives. They allow us to grow in maturity and perseverance, the spiritual fragrance in the Lord. Christian characters are built through times of challenges and difficulty.

May we be like gold and incense that can bring out Christian favour and characters.
