阿摩司書5章21-24節
神的小僕人

經文:
21 我厭惡你們的節期，也不喜悅你們的嚴肅會。
22 你們雖然向我獻燔祭，和素祭，我卻不悅納，也不顧你們用肥畜獻的平安祭。
23 要使你們歌唱的聲音遠離我，因為我不聽你們彈琴的響聲。
24 惟願公平如大水滾滾，使公義如江河滔滔。

上帝藉着先知發出了一段相當嚴厲的話，祂不喜悅以色列人的守節期、獻祭，也不喜悅他們的唱詩敬拜及服事，原因是他們只有外表儀式的炫耀，卻沒有內心的敬虔，特别是社會中滿是不公不義(24節)。上帝更看重的是我們心中的意念及敬虔的生命。

什麼是神的公平和公義呢？我們學習的就是去行主看為好的、主看為正的，就是聖經裏面教導我們的，如給小子一杯涼水、看顧孤兒寡婦及有需要的人、為了愛而作出犧牲。這些都是神的義。

禱告:
主耶穌，今天在這充滿罪惡、不公不義的世界，讓我們尋找真正服事神的機會，去行主看為正、看為好的。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。

Amos 5:21-24

God sent out a very solemn message to us through the prophet. He was disgusted by our offering, our worship and our ministry. Why? Because we do not have a heart of fear and obedience. God does not care about our outward but inward piety.

What is justice and righteousness of God? It is what God sees as right and good. It is simple loving kindness of offering a cup of water to needy, care for the under privileged and blessing others out of love. Let’s find ways to show kindness that comes from a loving heart for this is righteousness God delights.
