哈巴谷書一章1-6節
神的小僕人

經文:
1 先知哈巴谷所得的默示。
2 他說：耶和華阿，我呼求你，你不應允，要到幾時呢？我因強暴哀求你，你還不拯救。
3 你為何使我看見罪孽？你為何看著奸惡而不理呢？毀滅和強暴在我面前，又起了爭端和相鬥的事。
4 因此律法放鬆，公理也不顯明，惡人圍困義人，所以公理顯然顛倒。
5 耶和華說：你們要向列國中觀看，大大驚奇，因為在你們的時候，我行一件事，雖有人告訴你們，你們總是不信。
6 我必興起迦勒底人，就是那殘忍暴躁之民，通行遍地，佔據那不屬自己的住處。

當先知用質問的口吻，告訴耶和華他看見殘暴和不義的事正在發生，他不明白為什麼上帝不出手，任憑奸惡、詭詐、不義的事繼續發生？正如今天我們所看見的，就是惡人當道。

上帝用一句話回答了先知，他要行「一件事」，就是讓迦勒底人來審判以色列，這件事在諸多先知書中早已預言了，只是以色列人不信。神之後照樣會審判迦勒底人。今天的世代一樣罪惡滿盈，難道上帝没看見嗎？上帝在聖經已經告訴我們，上帝必然審判。

禱告:
天父，祢是公義的上帝，當我們看到奸惡、詭詐、不義的時候，我們相信祢看得更清楚，祢必然審判。求祢憐憫，讓世人願意及時悔改，願祢的國降臨。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。

Habakkuk 1:1-6

When the prophet questioned God about Him not intervening in times of hardship and violence, God gave him a simple answer. He will do something, people were told but they did not believe, just like we do today.

God raised up the Babylonians to punish His nation who was acting in an ungodly way. This has been prophesied but the Jews ignored the warning and judgement of God. It is the same today. The violence and unrighteousness we see are seen by God who will judge as He promises.

Trust the Lord when we see unjust on the land, for God certainly will judge.
