約拿書三章1-5節
神的小僕人

經文:
1 耶和華的話，二次臨到約拿說：
2 你起來，往尼尼微大城去，向其中的居民宣告我所吩咐你的話。
3 約拿便照耶和華的話起來，往尼尼微去。這尼尼微是極大的城，有三日的路程。
4 約拿進城走了一日，宣告說：再等四十日，尼尼微必傾覆了。
5 尼尼微人信服神，便宣告禁食，從最大的到至小的都穿麻衣。〔或作披上麻布〕

約拿聽到神的話，要到尼尼微城宣講拯救的福音，他拒絕，結果被大魚吞進去，三天在魚腹中悔改，後奇蹟式的獲救。約拿書第三章記載上帝的話再一次臨到約拿，這一次約拿立刻跟從了。

我們對上帝的吩咐也是如此，上帝對我們的提醒我們好像聽不到，又或者不願聽、不想跟從。但上帝對我們不離不棄，神所愛的，祂必管教，叫我們最終能行在祂的心意之中。

禱告:
天父，約拿的不順從就是我們的寫照，我們可以悔改聽從祢就是恩典。主啊！願我們都選擇順服祢，不要等到被嚴厲管教後才順從。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們。

Jonah 3:1-5

Jonah refused to listen to God to preach the words of salvation to the people of Nineveh. In the end he was swallowed by the big fish and stayed there for three days. When he repented, the words of God came to him the second time, and this time he obeyed immediately.

Aren’t we the same as Jonah that we turn a deaf ear to the command of God? We pretend we don’t hear Him or we simply disobey. Our God does not give up on us and He gives us a second chance. We are ultimately led back to His way.

Jonah’s disobedience reflects our defiance, and given a chance to return is the grace of God.
