出埃及記三章1-10節
神的小僕人

經文：
1 摩西牧養他岳父米甸祭司葉忒羅的羊群；一日領羊群往野外去，到了神的山，就是何烈山。
2 耶和華的使者從荊棘裡火焰中向摩西顯現。摩西觀看，不料，荊棘被火燒著，卻沒有燒毀。
3 摩西說：我要過去看這大異象，這荊棘為何沒有燒壞呢？
4 耶和華神見他過去要看，就從荊棘裡呼叫說：摩西！摩西！他說：我在這裡。
5 神說：不要近前來。當把你腳上的鞋脫下來，因為你所站之地是聖地；
6 又說：我是你父親的神，是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。摩西蒙上臉，因為怕看神。
7 耶和華說：我的百姓在埃及所受的困苦，我實在看見了，他們因受督工的轄制所發的哀聲，我也聽見了，我原知道他們的痛苦。
8 我下來是要救他們脫離埃及人的手，領他們出了那地，到美好寬闊流奶與蜜之地，就是到迦南人，赫人，亞摩利人，比利洗人，希未人，耶布斯人之地。
9 現在以色列人的哀聲達到我耳中，我也看見埃及人怎樣欺壓他們。
10 故此我要打發你去見法老，使你可以將我的百姓以色列人從埃及領出來。

我們都很熟悉摩西蒙召的這段經文，但每次我閱讀，可看見當中的不同教導。摩西遇見神，就俯伏在地，不敢看上帝，因為他知道自己是個罪人。知道自己是個罪人，才會被上帝呼召，去行上帝要我們行的。上帝是憐憫的神，祂聽見以色列人的哀聲，就派摩西去釋放他們，把他們從埃及為奴之家領出來。

今天我們怎樣看自己呢？ 那一個不是罪人呢？當我們自己省察，認清自己，我們才能真正看見上帝。摩西在曠野四十年，我想他已經把他一切的慾望都放下了，就在這個時候，上帝呼召他，作拯救以色列人的領袖。

禱告：
親愛的天父，被神選上蒙召是榮幸與福氣，但這一切由認識自己是誰及面對上帝開始。願神在這個時代興起合祢心意的領袖，也使用祢的每一個兒女，成為基督的精兵。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們。

Exodus 3:1-10

This is a passage regarding the calling of Moses. Every time I read it, I gain new insights. Moses met God and he hid his face, afraid to look at God for he knew what kind of a man he was. We need to confess we are sinners before we will be called by God. Our merciful God calls upon us to save and rescue for He hears the suffering of people. Moses was then called to bring the Hebrews out of captivity and suffering in Egypt.

How do we see ourselves? Don’t we know our sinful nature and have we brought them to God and deal with them? It is essential before we can serve our Lord. Moses has been in the wilderness for 40 years and I think all his desires to gain and possess are gone. This is where God will call His servants, including you and me to serve and save.

To be called is a blessing, and it starts with knowing who we are and be in the presence of the Lord.
